PASTORAL REFERENCE LETTER AND APPLICATION

PASTORAL REFERENCE LETTER AND APPLICATION

WHO CAN APPLY?

► Parishioners who live within the boundaries of St. Fidelis. Please note that mere membership by registration and domicile does not qualify you for a pastoral letter. A pastoral reference letter is issued to those who actively participate in the sacramental life of the church. If you do not attend weekend Masses at St. Fidelis regularly, we advise you to start attending and actively participate in the sacramental life of the church. Candidates who do not attend weekend Mass may be asked to wait up to four months before they can obtain a reference letter from the parish.

► Those who attend weekend Masses at St. Fidelis regularly, even if they live outside the territorial boundaries of St. Fidelis, can apply.

► Please avoid requesting a reference if you are not connected to the church community/parish or do not know the priest personally. Catholic schools need teachers, chaplains, and principals who are committed to the faith, and who understand and appreciate the differences between public and Catholic schools. Teachers at Catholic schools are vital witnesses to the faith in various aspects of their lives: personally, at school, with their families, in their parishes, and publicly.
